Music-centric Xperia E1 and E1 dual from Sony @Rs. 9,490/-

As a follow-up to the Xperia E, Sony introduced the Xperia E1 which will be available in single-SIM priced at Rs. 9,490/- and dual-SIM configuration priced at Rs. 10,490/-.

Both the phones shall be on sale this March. The Xperia E1 weighs 120g with 12mm 
thickness and will be available in signature Sony colors-black, purple and white.

The E1 sports 4inch display with WVGA resolution (800×480px), resulting in pixel density of around 233 ppi. The Xperia E1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. The device supports Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, with Sony’s custom UI. Decked with a 1700 mAh battery and Sony's Stamina mode, which will deliver 9 hours of talktime and 551 hours of standby time.

The Xperia E1 features a 3-megapixel rear camera but no front camera despite 3G support by the device. Sony claims E1 to be an Android Walkman phone as, it is charged with best audio technology. The speaker delivers 100Db of sound. It also infuses the ClearAudio+ technology as well as xLOUD which are normally reserved for higher-end phones. With the Sony's Walkman technology, users shall get some more extra playback features. For example, the playlist can be shuffled just by shake and also a dedicated Walkman button for quick access to the tracks.
