Micromax introduces Canvas Blaze HD, Canvas Duet II smartphones

Micromax introduced the Canvas Blaze HD (EG 116) and Canvas Duet II (EG111), thereby expanding its Canvas series. Both the smartphones are listed on the company's online store at an MRP. of 16K/- each.

The Micromax Canvas Blaze HD, runs Android 4.1 out-of-the-box. It exhibits a  5-inch IPS display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution. It supports dual sim functionality with support for GSM and CDMA networks. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8625Q) processor. It comes with 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of inbuilt storage, additional storage up to 32GB via microSD. The Canvas Blaze HD features an 8-mega-pixel rear camera and also hosts a 2-mega-pixel front-facing camera. Decked by a 2000mAh battery which delivers up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time.

The Micromax Canvas Duet II (EG111)

On the other hand, the Micromax Canvas Duet II runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It exhibits  a 5.3-inch HD display with a 720x1280 pixels resolution. The phone supports dual-SIM (GSM+CDMA) functionality and is powered by a  1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. It comes with  1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of inbuilt storage, additional storage up to 32GB via microSD. The  Canvas Duet II features an 8-mega-pixel rear camera with an LED flash and also hosts a 2-mega-pixel front-facing camera. Decked up with a 2300mAh battery which delivers up to 6 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time. Talking about the connectivity, this smartphone supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, GPS and EVDO REV A.
